We have a dog. He is terribly cute and the kids all adore him. Do we know what we're in for - probably not! But this little lad longed for a furry buddy. He was totally surprised. Yes! Sweet church friends gave him to us. He's part golden lab / part cow dog (a backer). Hopefully I have those terms right. Farm dogs here are a tremendous help to sheep and cattle/dairy farmers and are often highly trained.
Mercy cracks us up. Her whole body gets tense with excitement when she's around Lovey and she starts jibber-jabbering very emphatically. She also gets very cross if she only gets to see him for a few seconds.
Enoch loves him tons already, but he would appreciate Lovey more if he'd stop trying to eat his leg and tug his pants off.
Our kids would love for us to get a dog but I dont think itcwill happen anytime soon. Looks like you are enjoying this one. I will be down in invercargill with Amalia the weekend of the 17th so hope to see you then.
