You can't be serious!

We don't do a whole lot of politics on the blog, but when we saw this from the interview by Rick Warren at Saddleback Church, there was a bit of ranting going on (and if you can believe it, it was mostly from A, not me):

Warren: "At what point is a baby entitled to human rights?"

Obama: "Whether you're looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade."

My opinion: If it is above your pay grade, then you don't need to be getting the president's pay!

McCain doesn't do much for me and the more I hear from Obama the less I think of him! Argh!

  1. First, your comment about 'above his paygrade' is right on. What he means to say is that killing babies is not an issue with him. I know McCain doesn't do much for some people, and I'm not exactly sure what he'll do in certain situations but I believe Obama will run this country into the ground (or deeper) if given the opportunity.

Have you heard him say we ought to get an extra $1k, paid for by a revenue tax on big oil companies? Think about it. Taxing the American dream. So J'n'A, if you're farm were to be extremely successful (and I"m sure it IS!) but I mean really successful (if milk gets to 14$/gallon) then Obama might say it's unfair that you are selling milk and charge you a tax b/c you've been successful.

Now I'm not happy with 'big oil' but how can you "tax" someone's success?

Oh wait, that's what govt does!
