Taxing Taxes

April 15th may be crunch time for most of the country, but around these parts - sure enough, it's Feb. 29th.

And how does a wise farming family prepare for their Feb. 20th appt. with the CPA???

By leaving the hard stuff for the night before (you'd think we would've learned since college:))!

We are relieved that our info is turned in, and that pouring over cattle records, burnt hamburgers for sustenance, and procrastination is behind us!!

Do you think it was a good year for corn?:) He he he...

  5. Hey J&A. We aren't running a farm, so hopefully our taxes are easier to do than yours.

Does that mean you want to know that I finished and e-filed ours today! Yippikiyay!

The Social Insecurity Administration felt it their duty to not send us Seth's SS card yet, so i went down to the SS Office and got his number. (The lady at teh toll-free hotline told me that after 9 weeks, I could go in an get it, if I didn't have it in the mail.) That was all I was waiting for to get that extra 1k in Child Tax Credit!

Also, nice dinnerware Jonathan! I think we have the same pots!

(we got your photo and letter in the mail today - thanks!)
