Clarification

Just a wee little post to clarify Jonathan's comment in the post below..."a morning of near death due to out of control estrogen..."

Melody and I got up nice and early, yet not painfully early (so we thought) on Sunday morning. After getting as much of breakfast ready as we could, which included picking wild blueberries and Melody starting us a little campfire, we needed the boys (so I thought) to wake up and start up the little Whisper Light stove for us. I'm a bit afraid of the little gas stove and its tricky ignition process to begin with, and being pregnant and all I was feeling especially cautious about setting myself on fire. So, we tried kindly to wake the boys up by pretending that we were bears and roaring a little bit around their tent (yes there are black bear in the UP, no we didn't see any:( ). Well, that didn't work, because the boys had stayed up well past midnight as we found out, standing on the shore of Lake Superior, under a bright moon, talking for two hours in Scandinavian accents about all sorts of crazy things, don't ya know. So, we had to move to slightly more aggressive tactics to get them out of the tent. Apparently a bear or something caused their tent to start to come apart, and then we just ya know finished it off. Meanwhile they handed over what we needed for the stove and Melody bravely got it started! I was so impressed. What a woman!!

Sleepy #1 and 2 eventually crawled out in time to eat some blueberry pancakes with us.

Out of control estrogen?? Naaah, we did what was necessary for the situation, don't you think?:)
