Hacienda el Ranchero

Aaron and Andrew came over to play our new game Hacienda. Since it was their last night in the Thumb that they could both come over, they decided to wear ties. We joined in, and even had a visitor show up in a tie ( thanks Dave! Sorry - no pic!).

Hacienda is a game similar to Settlers of Catan. My brother Ben picked it out for us (thanks Ben!) and I think it is becoming a family favorite. I was a little afraid on my last play that the boys would kick me out for surprising them with a game-ending (and winning:)) play. They got over it...

We'll miss you Aaron and Andrew. Enjoy Nicaragua, Andrew, Adios!

  2. Hey, it's a post from our favorite anonymous blogger!:) Sorry to hear bout the skeeters, Lu. Hope you don't get bit by any with WNV, or we'll both be loopy for the rest of our lives:). How do you pick coffee? Just by hand or with a harvesting machine? Glad to hear you're enjoying the heat! If you think about it, access Frodo's blog - he's got a map now and I bet he'd love a dot from Nic. Seeya!
