Things We'd Probably Never Have Done if We Weren't Moving

There's something amazingly final about saying, "We're moving." I've let Jonathan say it mostly as he's the hulk of our relationship! Not sure what God has in store for us but we know He is good and in control!!

Here are some things we would probably:
A. Never Have Done
B. Forever put at the back of our minds
C. Have been shocked to see happen
or
D. Only dreamed might one day happen
if we weren't moving abroad/overseas/to New Zealand.

In no particular order, here we go:
1. Cash in childhood savings bonds (thanks Mom and Dad!)
2. Feel convicted to stop making equivocations (I just learned this word and am glad God is working on my heart on this!). Moving makes me want more than ever to have real, healthy expressions of my heart and relationships,
3. Let friends come over and haul our old plungers to the thrift store. Oh boy.
4. Encourage people to go down in our basement (dungeon) and attic.
5. Take picture of our dog to post on FB. To find him a new home. :(
6. Sell our Yukon. That was a sweet ride.
7. Post questions on an international immigration forum. Seems crazy!
8. Figure out how to use an online forum.
9. Go through every nook and cranny in our house.
10. Count the number of toilet paper rolls and weeks left in our house. 4 rolls, 2.5 weeks. This might not be good.
11. Do a happy dance when visas come in the mail.
12. Fill out paperwork for said visas which required proving Jonathan and I are married for love! Love you, Hubby!
13. Try to eat all the beets in our freezer.
14. Try to pawn off squash, old BB guns, and hair gel on friends, family and the UPS man (okay, not the UPS man but everybody else :)).
15. Realize how precious friends and family are and how much we're going to miss them and then try not to think about it.
