The Other Side of the World - Week 1

Never been so far south before. Wondering, do folks down here remember to look up more? Ah, I hope it rubs off on me. God's been gracious in getting us down here with no major mishaps. Only major close calls involved a forgotten bag of cheese and craisins at customs. Yikers!

Thought we'd share a few photos of our first 5? days of our journey. Time has been hard to keep track of this week. Our lil' rental car dashboard is almost all Japenese text, we have no cell phones, Andrew forgot his cell phone on the South Island, internet has been nearly impossible to get onto, and the only way we have to tell time is a nice little watch that Air New Zealand gave Abraham...which Mommy can't find. It's good to be off the grid...but a little confusing!!

Here are a few pictures from our first few days of traveling to New Zealand, via Honolulu (I know, seriously?? They were the cheapest tickets we could find - rough, but we had to take 'em.)

How did the boys like salt water? I can still remember your Mom's face when she tasted salt water on our honeymoon in Virginia Beach. It's funny that packing a watch didn't occur to you. With cell phones I seldom use a watch any more.

    Have fun!

    Love,
    Dad and Mom Lang
