Summer

How do you jump back into blogging after over two months? Here's a feeble attempt...

I always think of canning/preserving as a summer long ordeal. It's not. It's all about August! Peaches, green beans, sweet corn and tomato sauce done. Tougher this year with 2 lads around for sure. Thanks to my hubby for his encouragement.

Abraham and Enoch are a joy to watch together. They both love each other a bunch and are so happy to see each other when they wake up. They both enjoy Dad and Mom's room still. We like having them near and realize this time won't last much longer.

The guys on the farm are happy to have the irrigation set-up up and running after much labor to lay the pipe required for it. A long summer in the trenches...literally.

Grandpa and Grandma Shupe celebrated 40 years of marriage this summer and Grandma and Grandpa Lang 41 years. We are blessed to have such faithfulness surrounding us in marriage.

Uncle Andrew has left and moved to New Zealand for a year. We miss him and are grateful for Skype to talk with our Kiwi friend.

We still live in Michigan;) and that means we live near water. Celebrating Auntie Arin's birthday at the Lake is the last picture.

And now to figure out how to go back to the old blogger layout - this one is confusing me too much!:) If anybody out there still reads this - thanks:). Don't give up on us.
