As I stood in the kitchen eating chili and rice while holding Abraham a few minutes ago, it struck me I have much to be thankful for.
Thank you God, our Provider for...
Plenty of food
A growing precious son
Heat
Washer and dryer
Healing Abraham's cold and plugged tear ducts
A hard working husband
Abraham's thoughtful eyes
Jonathan not needing shoulder surgery again
Sending help when needed with nursing and childrearing questions
Very loving parents
A woodpecker in the yard this morning
Showers
6 weeks of meals!!
Friends' blogs
The gift of being able to nourish Abraham
A loving church family
A mighty God who loves me even when I doubt him, blame him, struggle with unbelief, am ungrateful, and don't love him with even an ounce of the love He deserves
What hope we have for the new year..."let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:22,23
