Super Snow & Happy Birthday, Paul!!

Sunday was a really wooly day around the Thumb of Michigan (for non-locals remember, MI is shaped like a mitten and we live in the tip of the Thumb (and if you can't picture that then get out your atlas and come visit us:))). Church was canceled and we hunkered down inside all day. This is what it looked like outside (although this pic is from last year), except for more snow falling.

Now I want you to look hard at these two people (not Abraham). Do these two nice cute looking Shupes look like cowboys (cowfolk?)? Well they sure were on Sunday! Paul and Arin were doing chores Sunday evening in the midst of the crazy weather. While Sunday chores is a big enough job for two people on a normal day, they ended up in the middle of a snowy field pulling a calf (along with David), getting stuck while getting feed for the cattle, and Arin ended up doing the milking mostly by herself! Those mamas don't always cooperate, and that was a huge role for Arin to step into while Paul was busy. Having only ever put on a few milkers nervously with Jonathan's help, I was so impressed by my sister-in-law. Hoot, hoot! What an awesome couple of cowboys/folk:)! They are two of the hardest workers you will ever meet!

Today we want to wish Paul Shupe a very happy birthday!!!! Can you guess how old he is? Looks like a natural holding that baby, doesn't he?:)
