Blake Walburg is Engaged!

Hoot hoot!!!!! We are so excited for Blake and his future wife Melody. We've had the pleasure of spending two weekends with Melody and we just love her! She is deeply in love with Christ, joyful, compassionate, kind, gentle, silly, fun, and the list goes on and on! The word from Blake is that a spring wedding (possibly March) is the tentative plan. They didn't have much time together to arrange details, because Melody left less than a week after Blake proposed to lead a group of college students on a two month overseas trip:(. So, pray for the happy/missing each other couple!


What a guy...Blake had a lovely table set up (by his sis!:)) on the shore of Lake Superior, where after he proposed they shared communion together.















The only downside is that two Scandinavians getting married usually leads to the prolification of the Minneesoootan/Wiscoooonson/UPper/Scandi race, i.e. people who don't talk right;-)
