Peace Pipe

Our guest on Shupe Shire for today is none other than...Lu!!! Not many will understand the significance of this sign, but to Lu and the Shupes it was a once in a lifetime find!!!

Smoke 'em if you got 'em, Lu!:)

Andrew just came back from a spring break trip to Red Lake, Minnesota, where he was part of a service project there at the Reservation. I'll let Lu tell you more about it if he feels like commenting...:)

Thank you for making me a guest on your wonderful blog, i feel quite honored. In response to your comment of a once in a lifetime find. I would have to agree that i was very happy to see that super sweet sign. All of us that went to Red Lake ended up getting a group picture next to it. They share a partial knowledge of the great peace pipe saying. (not the smoking of it:)

  2. Ah...yes...the beloved peace pipe. I know you Shupes are quite fond of it. It seems to be a very popular activity that is added to any chore or event on the Shupe ranch.
